The FERS annuity is calculated using the following formula based on your employment category:

1.1% × High-3 Average Salary × Years of Creditable Service -
For all other scenarios:
1.1% × High-3 Average Salary × Years of Creditable Service

FERS Supplement
The FERS Supplement is an approximation of the Social Security benefit you earned while working under FERS. It is calculated as follows:
(Years of FERS Service ÷ 40) × Estimated Social Security Annual Benefit
This supplement is only available if you retire before age 62 and stops once you reach age 62.
